A river town that loves its dogs
Chestertown is the Kent County seat and a historic colonial river town, home to Washington College and a downtown that runs right down to the Chester River. In town or out in the farmland that surrounds it, plenty of Chestertown households have dogs, and plenty of yards need picking up. Think of us as Chestertown's poop scooping service: we scoop, double-bag it and latch the gate behind us.
Keeping the Chester clean
The Chester River flows into the Chesapeake Bay, and when it rains, runoff from yards and streets carries whatever is on the ground toward the river. Dog waste brings bacteria and nutrients that feed algae. Picking it up regularly is one of the easiest ways dog owners can help. Read more in how dog waste affects the Chesapeake Bay.

In town and in the country
Chestertown's historic district has smaller, often fenced yards. Out in the county, properties get much bigger. Either way, we clean the areas your dogs use, walking them carefully so nothing is missed. For large country properties, we'll confirm pricing after we see the yard.
After winter
Upper Shore winters can leave a lot behind under snow and leaves. If the yard needs a big reset, start with a cleanup. Your first one is free with recurring service. Here's what to expect from a spring thaw.
Why Pawscapers
We're a licensed and insured Delmarva company. Every visit includes a text when we're on the way, a full-yard cleanup and a photo of your closed, latched gate. There are no contracts, you can manage everything in your client portal, and if you're ever unhappy we'll re-clean for free. We work year-round.

Hunting dogs and retrievers
Kent County is a hunting county, and many Chestertown-area homes have retrievers or other working dogs that spend a lot of time outside. We clean runs and kennel areas along with the yard, and always latch kennel and yard gates behind us.
Visitors and events
Between college events, graduations and family visits, Chestertown sees a lot of guests. A one-time cleanup before a gathering means everyone can enjoy the yard. If you rent your home to visitors, regular service keeps it ready between stays.
Historic homes, mature trees
Older in-town yards often have big trees, garden beds and long fence lines. We walk all of it carefully so nothing hides under the leaves.
